Were currently hiring a ManufacturingIndustrial Engineer for 1 of our clients, whos a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries. This position will sit in the valve and measurements group. Youll plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes in industrial plant by performing the following duties Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods. Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space qualifications, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for max efficiency. Develops and submits AFEs. Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient productions methods. Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. Estimates production times, staffing qualifications, and related costs to provide details for management decisions. Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing qualifications and potential.h as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Expertise to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Expertise to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Knowledge of database software Manufacturing software Spreadsheet software and Ms word Processing software. SAP knowledge six Sigma background is preferred.
